Do I Have To Pay Back The Missed Zakah
Assalamu alaykum gamidhi sahab
My father once invested in an islamic bank and used its profits to run the household expenses so there used to be no savings per month and whatever savings took place was way below nisab level but he had his capital amount which was nisab level was invested in the bank as fixed deposit (3 years). So the zakat on capital amount was never paid as there was no savings to pay with
He died recently so should we pay the zakat on his behalf??

If he has made a will for that, you can pay on his behalf, if not, even then it should be paid.

Keep in mind that any charity he made or taxes he paid will be counted as zakat paid.
