A Question With Regards To Fajr Prayer And Quran Tajwid
Why is there so many people not knowing how to read quran and people who don’t pray etc. I am assuming that before tablighi jamaat movement was created many people in Indian subcontinent did not pray five times prayer or fajr prayers.
I think it was close to Ijma and tawattur atleast for Indian-subcontinent to not pray fajr or daily prayers or read quran with tajwid.
Still so many people did not know how to read quran with tajwid in that time and I am not sure how is the situation now.
Due to advancement in technologies and smartphones now people are knowing about Islam.
People 30 years back did not have such information or too many ulema or too many masjids at their disposal.
So the question is –
How can this be possible for Ijma and tawattur to be going against what was started in the life of the prophet muhammad. ?

This is a misconception. People have always been saying prayer and reciting Quran. You are advised to read the history and find the information.
