It’s understandable for a person who is close to God (lives by His book and abides by the Sunnah of Rasool ul Allah), to have true dreams/karamaat etc.
But as for others, could this be a trial?

Trial in terms of seeing others performing those Karamaat?

No i meant for others who are not close to God (live by His book and abide by the prophet’s sunnah) to be bestowed with such karamaat or things like true dreams.
Could it be a trial for them in terms of how they take it? Meaning whether they thank God and be humble or be arrogant and misguide people?

In my understanding so far, it has always proved to be a slippery slope. Those who have used cover of religion on these things have also transgressed and those who haven’t have also transgressed. It is a test no doubt but quite a dicey route to take.
