    Interest Earned On House Security Deposit Kept In A Saving Account

    Salam

    I want to know about the interest over the security that I paid while renting a house. I paid the surity in the begging of the rent contract and the owner saved that money in a saving account. Now while I am leaving out of the house the security value increased due to interest. I want to know if that money is halal for me to use or if its ok to pay the rent of the last month with that extra money? If not please let me know how I solve this situation.
