Marrying A Woman Who Doesn't Offer Salah
My question is that, if a woman who doesn’t pray namaz except sometimes. She calls herself Muslim and also believes that Namaz is obligatory and also believes those ahadith about namaz, that it is the difference between Muslim and Kafir, that the one who abandons prayer has done kufr. but despite of all these, there’s still significant irregularities in namaz. praying sometimes and not praying mostly etc. would a Muslim man be allowed to marry her or would he be accountable if he marries such a woman?

There is no legal bar in marrying a woman who claims to be a Muslim however, due to personal sensitivity towards Ibadah, one may choose not to marry a woman who according to that person’s knowledge is not consistent when it comes to matters of Ibadah.

sir my question was that. if a polytheist who converted to Islam after itmam e hujjah. accepts faith, agrees to pray and give zakat. if at anytime later was found that he is missing prayers sometimes and upon asking why does he do that, he gives some excuses which are not strong enough to be said that it’s totally forgiven if they couldn’t pray because of that reason. rather the excuses given are somewhat weaker and still make that person sinful for not praying at that time like (fever weakness in body, feeling ill, or was far from home and it was difficult to pray in this hot weather). if such excuses are given but there’s no way to confirm as well whether these missing of prayer was because of Rebellion to Allah or not. so would those ex-polythiestic Muslim be left or would they be caught and treated as kafir because they missed some prayer without any strong reason that would make them completely sinless for not praying?

I am not aware of any such reported incidents relating to Salah, had such a situation occurred at that time, then the ruler of that time had authority to decide for each such individual after taking into account all the circumstances of the case, since Salah and Zakat were made a mandatory expression of their faith at that time to prevent them from death. Abu Bakr (rta) took action against Zakat rejectors on the same basis.

@UmerQureshi so sir if an ex-polythiest Muslim like this made kotaahi of missing some prayers (like people nowadays do that they miss prayers due to some excuses that may or may not be sufficient to save them from sin in hereafter). if he missed prayers because of weakness of willpower and mistakes but not due to Rebellion inside his heart. then until and unless, it was truly confirmed by any means that it was due to Rebellion then they won’t be treated as kafir, right sir? by confirmation I mean some undeniable solid evidence, like outright denial by the individual themselves to pray etc

Yes, as long as they are coming up with excuses, those excuses will be accepted unless something solid comes to the leader’s knowledge which makes those excuses absolutely redundant or they openly reject Salah and/or Zakat. At the end, the final decision would rest with the leader.
