Ethnic-group Of Ustad-e-Mohtaram (ha)
Asselamu aleykum,
While, I was reading the article of Ustad-e-Mohtaram (ha) on Wikipedia. I saw that Ustad e Mohtaram belongs to a Kakazai family. So my question is, Is our Ustad e Mohtaram a Urdu-speaking Pashtun (i.e his family immigrated here from present-day India, like the Deobandi scholar Mufti Tariq Masood Sb. ) or he belongs to a pure Pashto-speaking family?
Please pardon me, If Ustad-e-Mohtaram (ha) wants to keep that personal. Just asking this question. Because, I am a Urdu-speaking myself.

Ghamidi saheb is Kakazai Pashtun. His ancestors migrated from KPK to Punjab Sahiwal and then came to Pakpattan for his early education.
In his book Maqamaat he has written some important details about him.
