Arrogance is to look down upon others. This is a negative feeling and one can judge it in oneself. To be more powerful, wealthier, intelligent, or more beautiful than others is a factual situation that should lead to gratefulness to God.

And what about the pride? Like thinking of yourself as someone of a status and power although not looking down upon others and believing that it is Allah who gave him that status and it is not his own doing and is grateful for it, is this pride or anything else that is negative that could be involved in this?
