Maqam Ibrahim In The Eyes Of Ustad-e-Mohtaram
Asselamu aleykum,
I have learned in this platform that, According to the perspective of Ustad-e-Mohtaram (ha), Maqam Ibrahim is not a sacred stone. And, that Quran-i Kerim was referring as ‘Maqam Ibrahim’ to Baytullah. Can someone shed some more light on this topic that, why Ghamidi Sb. (ha) holds this opinion. Thanks.
There are dozens of hadiths in Sahih literature (i.e, Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim) which states that Maqam Ibrahim refers to the stone on which Sayyiduna Ibrahim (as) is reported to have been stood on.
