Meaning Of المطهرون In Surah Waqiah Verse 79
لَّا یَمَسُّہٗۤ اِلَّا الۡمُطَہَّرُوۡنَ ۷۹ سوره واقعه
ِDear sir, I read in Al-bayan the ranslation of the Ayah and it is (اُس کو صرف پاکیزہ (فرشتے) ہی ہاتھ لگاتے ہیں). my question is that the word مطهرون is used for plural why is in the translation in singular form and pointed to only one angel, hence we know that quran is revealed to prophet PUH through only one angel which is Gabriel.

The angels who keep the Quran are more than one. Gebrail’s duty was to reveal it to the prophet.
كَلَّا إِنَّهَا تَذْكِرَةٌ ﴿
﴾ فَمَن شَاءَ ذَكَرَهُ
فِي صُحُفٍ مُّكَرَّمَةٍ ﴿
﴾ مَّرْفُوعَةٍ مُّطَهَّرَةٍ ﴿﴾
بِأَيْدِي سَفَرَةٍ
﴿﴾ كِرَامٍ بَرَرَةٍ
