Is The Crescent A Permissible Symbol Of Islam?
While doing research on Islam, I came across a fact that the crescent symbol of Islam is not the proper representation of the religion. It says that the sometime between Ibrahim (AS) and Muhammad (SWS), the symbol of the crescent originated from pagan worshippers using the crescent symbol on the Kaaba to worship their Moon God, Baal. Is this true, and if so should we as Muslims abandon this symbol?

Islam donot have any symbol. Its has been associated with muslim now.
