The prophet does not tell the things in a technical way as is the way of Fuqaha. The people have always been aware of the fact that the private parts need to be covered. And that woman’s chest is also a private part. The prophet commented on some occasions to guide and instruct when he observed some carelessness or advised what more to be done to cover one’s private parts.

As per my knowledge there is no Sahih Hadith reported from Prophet Muhammad (sws) where male and female satar is mentioned in a legal way. Whatever narrations we have, either they are weak or some Sahih narrations contradict eachother. Most of what we find after that is jurisprudence of scholars based on those ahadith or some incidents reported in Hadith books. You can read these details in the following links:
