Sir the hadis ‘ three things are serious when said serious and serious when said in jest, divorce, marriage and rujoo’. Is a sahih or hassan hadis, so why do you guys say that marriage does not take place in jest, when corroborating evidence is also present from the companions.

It is a warning that if such a case comes to the court to decide, the court has the authority to validate it so that the people may take it seriously. It does not nullify the principle that such a serious matter of marriage or divorce can be established without a serious intention.

I don’t have reference for this particular variant. Maybe Dr. Irfan Shahzad Sahab could help in this regard.
