  Is Shaking A Non-mahram Woman'S Hand Haram?

  According to Sahih al-Jaami’ 5045, “If one of you were to be stabbed in the head with an iron needle it would be better for him than touching a woman whom he is not permitted to touch.”

  Is this hadith authentic and if so, how can I prevent myself from shaking her hand since many people do it?
