There was no tradition of Prophet Jesus (sws), instead he did not get a chance to revive the tradition of Prophets. Bani-Israel rejected his messengerhood and tried to murder him due to which he did not get a chance to compile Injeel in book form and to revive and initiate religious tradition. Secondly, Bani-Ismael were direct descendents of a Rasul (Prophet Ismael (sws)) and they were following the teachings of their Rasul which later on turned into polytheistic beliefs and some other innovations in religion. However, even till the time of Prophet Muhammad (sws), people were aware of Deen-e-Hanif (Abrahamic Tradition), not with exact details, but enough to stay away from Polytheism and to perfom religious rituals like Hajj and Salah without any innovation (‘Bidat‘).
