Is Rental Income Halal?
Is rental income haram? For example, if someone rents a property to earn income from it or rents a portion of their property to help out with expenses.
I mean personally I don’t think that is the case, but a lot of people are creating confusion saying that it is haram ,and this is the first time I have heard such a thing about rental income being haram. Therefore, I want you to please elaborate and clarify.

There is nothing wrong with rental income. Some people equate it with Riba: interest/usuary. It is not like Riba. Riba is charging an extra amount on the loan. To rent a thing is not like giving a loan. In a loan, the money or a thing is consumed and you have to produce it again to return it, while the rent the thing on rent is used whose rent is paid.
