Wee believe what we know. If God the one we know is not a God then the actual God should have stopped him.
All the qualities that should be in God are there in the One who claims to be a God. He knows our nature. The religious he revealed is bralimming with wisdom. His dealings with people are based in justice. He sent prophets and made them victorious against all odds. It shows His power to execute whateve he wills. This is what makes Him a real God.
