Why Inheritance Share Of A Wife Is Less Than Everyone Else
I used the calculator provided on this app.
So according my understanding from that is if a husband passes away, the mother and father of the husband each have a greater share in inheritance than the wife.
Even the kids get more than the wife. The percentage given to her is the least.
Why is that?
Especially in our culture where the wife sacrifices her entire life for the family, leaves her career and is eventually left with no income stream.

After the death a man his financial responsibilities for his children and widow shift to hir parents, not to his wife.
Therefore they are entitled to have bigger share in the inheritance.
If husband feels that her wife deserves more he is allowed to make his will in her favour. The laws comes only after the will.

The principle according to which the inheritance is distributed is that who is more financially beneficial to the person. God has delineated this. See the verse
آبَاؤُكُمْ وَأَبْنَاؤُكُمْ لَا تَدْرُونَ أَيُّهُمْ أَقْرَبُ لَكُمْ نَفْعًا
Parents are more beneficial to a person in terms of financial help. They spend on him and bring him up. and they become responsible after him for taking care of his family, as told earlier.
