    Dear Ask Ghamdi team,

I need advise for my daughter, she is 11 year old and have got her periods started just couple of months ago. Now she started to observe fasting, however for past 2 roza, she is feeling too much weakness and with ongoing school exams and studies, she complains of pain in body and legs. Now under these circumstances, Can she skip some roza to regain her health. These missing ones, she will observe after Ramadan.

Your kind advise will be highly appreciated.

    Thanks & Best Regards,

    Kaleem

The principle of ease is observed in the matters of worship. Qur’an tells that if someone Is sick or travelling one is allowed to skip fast. This is because one is facing a hardship. It implies that when one feels hardship in other situations the same ruling will be applied to the other situations too. would be Is her health doesn’t not allow or her routine is tough she can skip the fasts to keep them in other days.
