Why does Ghamidi Sahib interpret Deuteronomy 18:18 as a prediction for Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) in Surah Fatiha, while Christians believe it refers to Jesus Christ (peace be upon him)? Considering the timeline, shouldn’t this prophecy be about Jesus as he came before Prophet Muhammad? Why would Moses prophesy about Prophet Muhammad when Jesus had not yet appeared?

Since in Gospel of John It has been said by JESUS A.S.”8:28 Then Jesus said,17 “When you lift up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am he,18 and I do nothing on my own initiative,19 but I speak just what the Father taught me.” and on many other places in the Gospels JESUS reminded them that I was predicted in the scriptures.

Jesus was not like Moses, but the Prophet was. He fought and ruled and gave the law of God. He belonged to the brethren of Israelits which cannot be Israelites themselves.

There was no restriction on Moses not to mention the prophet Muhammad when there were other prophets in between them. There were other prophets too who came before Jesus but Jesus did not mention them.

Jesus too was predicted by the prophets, he cites other predictions of the prophet, not this one.
