    Salam.
As Allah commands in Surah Noor, that men are made QAWAM over women, which means men are made responsible for leading the household, providing financially and as well as providing security.
I want to ask whether women are responsible for certain things in terms of a household responsibilities.
Is it the responsibility of the women to cook, clean, take care of children, do other domesticated responsibilities? Or Islam has a other point of view in regard to this.

Also, if I have said anything wrong above, please correct me.

Islam instructed women to accept men as their qawwaam Ans be obedient to them.

Now it is our social norms and individual requirements which tell us what functions man and woman should adopt to run a house smoothly. Different societies and different individual requirements may demand different roles. Therefore Islam did not specify them.

When we say that women are made to obey men, what is the extent to this?

Are women made to obey men even if the ideologies of men and women are poles apart?

What if the man puts his foot down over some dispute and the wife is totally against it, what should be the wife attitude to this?
