    Assalamualaikum

Is it necessary for every single muslim to do research to reach a certain conclusion in their religion?

A person who has other priorities in life such as completing his education, doing a job or business or anything else does he also need to be a researcher despite the fact that he doesn’t wants to be like the Bedouin of Arabia who once asked prophet of Islam to tell him the secret to jannah in few and simple words.

Let’s assume that a person has some doubt regarding any issue he seeks the different advice/perspectives of 3 different scholars and based upon his knowledge he accepts one and reject the two. Will it be considered that what the person has done is correct and he follows that one thing throughout until and unless he finds anything which is not in coherence with his current beliefs.

    Jazakallah
