    Quran offers its own explanation which is better than Hadith-based understanding, as they say القران یفسر بعضہ بعضا. Pls see 25:33:

    25:33 For every example they come to you with, We bring you the truth and the best explanation.

    If you understand the context of Quran from Hadith books, the chances are that you are going to get a corrupted explanation.

    A classic example is chapter 30 ( Rum), which according to Hadith is about Rome/Persian wars. But if you take into account the entire Chapter in its totality, the context is screaming loud and clear that it is about Rome/Muslim wars, and there is no involvement of Persians.
