Ashtinama Of Prophet Muhammad PBUH
Ashtinama is a document in history. It is claimed to be given to monks of St Catherine monastery by Allah’s last prophet PBUH. List of witnesses given in the said document are said to include many famous companions.
Is there any mention of the document “Ashtinama” in any of the books of authentic hedith?

There is no early record of this document or event found in the books of Ahadith.

In my opinion senior Muslim scholars should provide elaborate analysis of the said document.
The said document is valued for it’s positive impact on interfaith relations, which is a noble objective. However, if that document is a fabrication people should be aware of it.
Textual analysis of document and it’s history shall provide better understanding.
