According to van putten the reading of hafs does not look much like Arabic from the hijazi region but a classicsized form of Arabic with non hijazi features like from the najd Reason what is the response to this?

If he means the language is not Quraishid, we have Qur’an which claims that it is revealed in the language of Quraish. The Quraishid did not object that it is no their dialect. No claim can be made without answering to the question and they Quraishid did not raise this objection or mentioned it.
If he means script, then it evolved over the time.

According to van putten the qureshi did not pronounce the hamzah but it was added back in by the famous reciters?

He is simply wrong because the Qur’an was given by and recorded by Quraishid. If he didn’t find any evidence outside Qur’an it is his fault. Qur’an itself an evidence against him.
