Permissibility Of Fiction Involving Religious Figures
Is it permissible for a Muslim to consume and create fiction that involves tales of our God, angels and prophets?
As you might be saying something about them that is not true and could be falsehood.
For example, the story of the lumberjack who drops his axe in the river for an angel to dive in and retrieve three axes as a reward for his honesty, comes to mind.

Fiction is not falsehood. Falsehood is what is presented as true but that is actually not ture. In Qur’an we have such allegorical stories told by God.
There is nothing wrong in them until claimed to be True.
