Praying Witr Right After Salatul Hajat Without Supplicating
Assalamu Alaikum,
If one prays Salatul Hajat (the prayer of wishes) but forgets to supplicate right after saying salam. But, supplicate after praying Witr or any other salah, is his Salatul Hajat counted? -

You need to learn the essence. You pray to God in prayers, whether they are Fard or Nafal. Supplications are the part of prayer. The sitting part, Qada, is specified for prayers. You can ask for your wishes in that part within namaz.
Also, you can do it after the prayer. Sometimes we make special Nafal prayer for a single wish to make it special. It makes no difference if you ask for your wish within the prayer, or after it or after some other prayer. It is all worship of God. supplication is made after worship which makes it worthy to be put forward to God.
