Question About Certain Hadiths About Drawing
I’ve already read one of the posts here saying that drawing actually isn’t forbidden, that many of the hadiths has wording like “these images”, implying it was very specifically a certain type of image at the time when idolatry was common. But what about these ahadith?
Sahih Muslim 2107 f, Sahih Muslim 2107 i, Sahih al-Bukhari 5954, Sunan an-Nasa’i 5357, Sahih al-Bukhari 5953
In all of these ahadith, none of them have the wording “these images”. They all feel like the prohibit all drawings when they say “someone that tries to imitate God’s creation”. That God find it offensive when you draw something because you are trying to be like him by creating something.
