    I have heard Ghamidi Sahib saying in many videos regarding women’s testimony in financial matters that two women’s testimony is equal to one man’s testimony because women shouldn’t be dragged into courts.

    To my understanding Quran simply states the reason that women may forget the details of transaction and thus two woman witnesses are required.

    Is there a reason Ghamidi Sahib don’t mention women’s memory or objectivity reasoning and instead mention inconvenience of women being dragged into courts?

    Ghamidi saheb did not say that it is because woman should not be dragged into the court. Kindly watch the video.

    Thank you Dr. Irfan. Once I find the video I mentioned I will provide it to you. The video you provided above gives slighly different reasoning but still not the one mentioned in Quran. According to my copy of translation of ayah 2:82, the reasoning is that if one women becomes biased, the other women would remind her (about the agreement)
