Is there any specified duration of breastfeeding to a infant in Islam? I’ve heard that breastfeeding beyond 2 years of age of child is prohibited. Plz guide.

There is no time specified for breastfeeding in Islam. Some people understand from a verse that it is around two years, but it is not a directive but referring to the common practice.
وَحَمْلُهُ وَفِصَالُهُ ثَلَاثُونَ شَهْرًا ۚ
and his carrying and weaning took place in [almost] three months. 46: 15
