please refer to verses An-Nisaa’ 4:65, An-Nur 24: 51, An-Nisaa’ 4:59 and, Al-Hashr 59:7.
These verses shows that Following Prophet command is compulsory. Hence, once you are sure about authenticity of hadith, it become mandatory to follow it.
