  Intercession

  What is the concept of intercession? Can someone ask for forgiveness for someone else- what effect will this have if the person himself is not wanting forgiveness? If it doesn’t do anything to a person like this then what is the point of it?

  Or is it simply a form of evidence used in the court of law? If so why is it only allowed if Allah says so?

  For those people which intercession does not benefit what does it mean? Is it simply that people used to believe their fake gods would save them?

  Can we then just leave it on Allah that whatever intercession that takes place on the Day of Judgement, will be based on Justice and only the truth will be spoken. Since we have no definite answers? @Sohail
