In his translation, البيان, Ghamidi Sahb has translated the word ازواج as بیویاں, which implies women for men. However, in his lates Response to 23 Questions on Jannat ki Hoor, he said it can also be translated as جوڑے, which implies men for women and women for men. Why does his and so many other translations use wives or بیویان instead of spouses or جوڑے?
