On 22nd of Rajab, some muslims cook khir and puri (famously known as Kunday) for esal-e-sawab of Imam Jafar Sadiq (Also called Nayaz). This is done in the name of Allah according to the people who do this, so there is nothing impermissible in eating such food. But if it is done in the name other than Allah, then eating such food would be Haram. As for the custom of kunday itself (esal-e-sawab), it has no religious basis the way it is been done now a days.
