Javed ghamidi sabh said in a video that eating prasad is shirk….how could it be shirk…when you firmly believe there is no god except Allah…and in non Muslim country you will find people let’s say hindu who say what’s a big deal in eating prasad…even when you say to them as you can’t eat cow we can’t eat prasad…so after explaining your situation still they gives you prasad in food…as you have paid for mess…you cannot eat from cafe…so you have to eat from mess…and they are saying we will serve prasad…even you have explained them your situation….so you have to eat that food…how could it be shirk….when you firmly believe there in no god except Allah…yes you cannot say it compulsion to eat from mess ….but when you live in hostel you cannot eat from cafe everyday and you have already paid for mess.

    Please consider this situation hypothetical

It is haram to consume anything connected to Shirk or Fisq. Declaring something halal despite its association with Shirk is an act of Fisq (disobedience to God). Refer to verses 5:3 and 6:121 for guidance. Moreover, justifying such an act is an act of Shirk.

It’s important to let others know to respect your preferences, just as you respect theirs.

Okay eating prasad is a shirk…so what if they don’t agree can we consume it as fees has already been paid for it..will it come under case of necessity…yes their is alternative to eat from cafe but it is not feasible to eat from cafe everytime..you are making a dicision which is viable and protect your money from being wasted..And you have already told them your preference now sin is on them maybe if they continue to give that food…not the one who is consuming it….is my understanding correct?

You mean they take the food from the mandir and use it as the hostel’s meal. If it is happening you should report it to the authorities. Meanwhile, if you have no choice, and it is a matter of compulsion only, then you can only eat it, otherwise not.
