Punishment For Homosexuality
Dear,
In the following hadith (https://sunnah.com/abudawud:4462) it is stated that the punishment for homosexuality is the death penalty. Is this hadith authentic and what is the punishment for homosexuality in Islam?
I also read somewhere that imam Ibn Hazm opined that homosexual sex is lesser of a crime than heterosexual sex as there is no fear of an illicit child being born of that relationship. Hence, he opined that the punishment for homosexuals should be 10 lashes only. Can you confirm this aswel, please? I thank you for the help.
