Who Was In Fire And Who Is Blessed In Surah Namal Verse 8?
In Surah Naml Verse 8 , when Moses saw the burning fire and when he went there he heard :Blessed is He Who is in the fire and whatever is around it. Glory be to Allah, the Sustainer of all in the Universe.
So was this God somehow present there?
I heard from someone that it was moses that was in the fire and it is referring to him being blessed in it.
Those around the fire is a little obvious if a reader reads this that he or she will immediately think the angels.
But Moses can’t be in the fire because it makes no sense , because any normal human reaction will be that he will stay at distant from the burning sort of fire if he or she approaches one. So how can he step into it?
And second the verse clearly mentions the tree was in the fire. But why is the tree blessed?
Any person who will read this passage it will clearly come to him that God is referring to Himself by Blessed is He who is in the fire.
So can you elaborate is this really God that is referring to Himself as blessed is He and why would He say that? And How can God be in fire or some sort of fixed place suddenly? Or was it just a tool to communicate to Moses ?
How should we understand this verse?
