Quran 28:25 – Mention Of Shyness Of Women When Addressing Men
فَجَاءَتْهُ إِحْدَاهُمَا تَمْشِي عَلَى اسْتِحْيَاءٍ قَالَتْ إِنَّ أَبِي يَدْعُوكَ لِيَجْزِيَكَ أَجْرَ مَا سَقَيْتَ لَنَا ۚ فَلَمَّا جَاءَهُ وَقَصَّ عَلَيْهِ الْقَصَصَ قَالَ لَا تَخَفْ ۖ نَجَوْتَ مِنَ الْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ﴾[ القصص: 25]
Then one of the two women came to him walking with shyness. She said, “Indeed, my father invites you that he may reward you for having watered for us.” So when he came to him and related to him the story, he said, “Fear not. You have escaped from the wrongdoing people.”
Does the above mentioned verse emphasizes the rest of women to be hesitant & awkward while addressing men? Like the women does walked with shyness & awkwardness towards musa alaihisalam?

@Irfan76 in the following verse that lady said to musa alaihisalam that our father is a big man,like indirectly she was showing some harshness while interaction so that musa shouldn’t get any wrong idea,& while walking too she walked in a shy manner ,like by hesitation bcz she needed to come infront of a non mahram.
This shows the nature of discomfort while interacting with opposite gender & even today the nature should be adopted by the rest of the people if not this story wouldn’t have mentioned in quran
This is the way a scholar interpreted this verse, kindly please explain it!

The girl mentioned her father not because Moses would advance, she mentioned that they tend the goats despite the odds because their father was an old man. and that is why she suggested to her father to keep Moses as a worker because they needed a worker.
She walked the way a decent woman walks. A decent woman when walking or talking keeps decency. A decent man does the same.

Here she walked & interacted whith shyness,some says she was hesitant,it means even today one must be hesitant while interacting which shows that she is not interested in interacting with men but because of this emargency or need she is interacting!
