Extent Of God’S Help
If I strive to stop doing a wrong thing and ask God to help me, that’s a great thing for sure. But what if I don’t even strive to stop doing the wrong thing and leave everything to God and seek His help through prayer, will it still be okay or is this against the rules? This is just to make things easy and to take away the OCD and doubtful thoughts.

The principle we learn from Qur’an is that it is the man who has to make his effort first only then God’s help comes. However one should request God give him strength to avoid a wrong. This shows one’s wish to avoid a wrong and one’s connection with God.
