Order To Follow The Messenger & The Status Of Hadith In Religion
God orders us to follow the messenger as well. Some people say this tells us to follow the Hadith as well. But I don’t think this is true. When the messenger is not here anymore, the only thing that is to be followed is the Sunnah which obviously was taught by the messengers to the followers so it makes sense. I don’t want to look into Hadith because I don’t want to bring any more difficulty as some Hadiths cause. I just want to follow the Quran and Sunnah

Quran and Sunnah is Deen. Ahadith are historical record of the prophet’s sayings and his actions. Ahadith are understood in the light of the Quran and Sunnah. This sometimes needs specialized knowledge to deal with them. For a common person, to act upon the Quran and Sunnah suffices and he should accept Ahadith in this frame only.
