In continuation to the reply given by Dr Irfan Shahzad on my question posted on 27th August 2024 about Quran (28:46), he mentioned that for several generations no Warner had come to the Arabs and it is for them Allah sent our Prophet as a Warner and reminder.

In one of the discussions, Ghamidi Sb mentions that before attaining Prophethood, our Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and other Arabs (Sahabas etc.) were already practising the Hanefi religion of Ibrahim (AS), offering 5 daily prayers, practising Haj etc. If no Warner had come to them, who taught them the Hanefi religion of Ibrahim (AS).

    Please clarify.

They are the Children of Ishmael, the son of Ibrahim. They practiced the religion of Ibrahim, which is mentioned in the Quran. They performed Hajj and Qurbani, said prayers, and observed Nikah, Talalq, and other religious directives. However, they distorted their beliefs by adopting Shirk and they were not certain about the resurrection in the afterlife. They had introduced innovations (Bidat) into their practices and had not received a warner for a long time.

Additionally, warner is required after Shariah. In the example of Bani Israel, they had been receiving warners after the Shariah brought to them by Moses, but no warner came after Ishamel to the Arabs.
