AoA, kindly explain that to which extent, we can derive standalone meaning in Quran. Is it Ayat, is it two words, is it a word or is it a combination of ayats. For example, 10 ayats are related to some event or some ruling about something. Can we derive separate meaning from one of them (scope/meaning of that ayah applied) or we have to always take in account the context?

    Regards

It depends upon the meaning and scope of the intended message. It may take only one verse or multiple verses to give its meaning. Sometimes similar verses at different places are analyzed to know the intended meaning. To learn this, you may see the annotative commentary of the Al Bayan by Ghamidi Saheb or Tafsir Tadabbur e Quran by Mawlana Amin Ahsan Islahi.
