    Assalamualaikum!

Materialists say that consciousness is nothing separate from matter, rather it is it’s expression only.

We see in the biological world that more complex the nervous system is, the more conscious and aware that organism is.

For example, us humans with the most complex brains are most conscious and capable of finest of motions. Whereas the lower you go towards simplicity, the less conscious that organism is.

Is this position and the approach correct?

This issue is a longstanding philosophical conundrum rooted in observational debates. Since it lacks a definitive resolution, we turn to divine guidance. According to religious teachings, consciousness is a divine command, an external, supernatural source. It is not an emergent property or byproduct of material processes, but rather a manifestation of God’s will.

I think maybe the matter could be serving as a portal to the conscious being to express itself in a more organized and stiff manner within this material world.
