Is it necessary to fast for three consecutive days on breaking an oath or can one fast on three non-consecutive days? The Qur’an does not mention the consecutiveness for the oath-breaking fasts, does it?

The Qur’an outlines four methods of atonement: providing food or clothing for ten needy individuals, emancipating a slave, or fasting for three days. For those unable to afford the first three options, fasting is prescribed. Notably, the Qur’an does not specify whether the three fasts must be consecutive, allowing for flexibility in completing them on separate days. However, consecutive fasting is considered preferable.
