If someone gives three Talaqs (divorces), will it be considered as one or three? Please explain this using references from the Quran and Hadith.

The Quran uses the word occasion, مرتان so the occasion will be counted, not the number of the word Talaq. See verse 2: 229.
If three pronouncements at once are considered three Talaq, the provision of reconciliation (Ruju) as given in the verse cannot be availed.
