There is an error in the traditionalist’s understanding of the law of inheritance, which made the shares prescribed by the Quran indivisible. However, there is no error actually in the Quran. According to the Quran, not all the shares should be deducted from the total estate, instead, the shares of the parents and wife should be given from the total, and from the rest the daughters’ share will be given.
