Will Hell Be Emptied One Day
Salam everyone. I was reading Al-A’af 7:156, translated into English as “… God said, ‘I bring My punishment on whoever I will, but My mercy encompasses all things. ‘I shall ordain My mercy for those who are conscious of God and pay the prescribed alms; who believe in Our Revelations;””
and I wanted to ask if this means that some people will be in hell for eternity?

Surah Hud verses 106-108, give the hint that the hell might not be eternal. It is God’s prerogative to keep it eternal or end it. However the rebels of God who committed the major sins and the arrogant, won’t enter into paradise as declared by God, 7:40۔
They might be annihilated
