The choice of adversary for humankind has always been a perplexing issue for me.

Q1 Why did Allah, in His infinite wisdom, decree that Iblees and his legions of devils could be the enemies of human beings, especially when their abilities—such as invisibility, teleportation, and shape-shifting—seem far beyond our natural capacity to resist?

Q2 Is the pursuit of Sufism intended to empower individuals not only with heightened spiritual insight but also with extraordinary abilities, enabling them to better counteract the influence of these inevitable enemies?

Allah did not decree Iblees his legion be His rebels Ans enemies of humans. It was their choice. He disobeyed Allah rebelliously.

Allah has told us all that he can do is insinuation. He has no power over humans. In this regard his efforts to misguide humans is not more than that of bad humans who invite their fellowmen to evil.

Sufism is nothing but exercises to enhance one power of concentration that enables them to perform some extraordinary feats. This has nothing to do with their defense against Iblees. This is only the knowledge, self control and fear of God which save them from falling pray to Satan’s insinuation.
