Could religion itself be a result of cognitive biases that have evolved in the human mind over time? Are we truly alive? Do we genuinely possess a soul, or are we simply complex arrangements of matter, no different from a metal block, except for the electrical signals in our brain that give us the illusion of consciousness? Is it possible that death is the end of everything, that there’s nothing beyond it? This idea is terrifying, perhaps even more so than the thought of eternal punishment. Could religion just be a construct to ease these existential fears? Additionally, why do terrible things happen under the rule of a merciful God, like cancer in children or the suffering of countless human beings?

What we experience is a fact for us. The speculation that is not a fact can not be verified. So we follow our instinct that the existence is real.

The religion is a set of information we received from prophet Muhammad. There are several evidences which makes is believe that religion and quran was not conceived by him.

If you are not alive then why fear of death exists?

Fear of death exists in every living being as a survival instinct, a mechanism developed through evolution to increase our chances of survival. This instinct helps us avoid danger and seek safety, behaviors crucial for the continuation of our species. Evolution has also equipped us with cognitive biases that once aided in making rapid decisions, even if not always factually correct. While these biases helped early humans react swiftly to threats, they can now distort our thinking, leading us to hold onto potentially unfounded beliefs, such as those about deities and religion.
