Status Of Marriage Based On Deceit Which Is Still Not Registered?
Assalam o alaykum
My question is about validation of marriage. If a man provides wrong information in order to trick the wife to get into nikah like he says he prays 5 times but doesn’t, he says he is single but married with kids and he isn’t religious at all contrary to all claims then is this nikah valid as women already made clear to the man that she only want to marry a single man who prays and religious? Also what she should do he refuses to divorce her and getting divorce for herself is not easy and very expensive procedure through organizations etc. what she should do in such case?

The Nikha is valid despite his cheating. She can file her case for divorce (Khula). it is now not a difficult procedure anymore.

How she file the divorce. Nikah is not registered. He didn’t want it to be registered. Also divorce is not easy. Costs a lot of money and time. Why she has to struggle, according to Islam for his mistakes?
