Punishment/Kaffara For Breaking A Fast During Or Before Teenage?
I don’t exactly remember when but it was during or before my teenage that I broke fast. I don’t remember the reasoning for doing that. I didn’t know the full extent of this sin at that time, although I did get a hunch that I shouldn’t be doing that.
Now, I know why I fast and why I shouldn’t deliberately break it without valid reasons. I also fasted full month for the first time last ramadan and so I am changed now and I have repented to God for my past mistakes as well, which occurred mostly because I didn’t know the full extent of them and I wasn’t into religion.
Do I still have to pay kaffara for the past fasts that I broke during the time I mentioned deliberately without a valid reason? My mind keeps bothering me telling me that I must still do it so that I don’t make that mistake again but I also feel like only if I do that again will I be required to do this because now I know the full extent of the sin
